Score 93/100 · Drink 2025-2033, Jeb Dunnuck, Jul 2025

Moving to the reds, the 2022 Pinot Noir Savoy comes from the Anderson Valley and is a youthful ruby color. This vintage leads with a light rustic flair, although it’s quite appealing in the fabric of the wine, offering notes of sour black cherries, brambly forest earth, clove, and orange peel. It’s medium-bodied, with a silky texture, a balanced, ripe feel, and a clean, even finish. It’s highly charming now, and while it might not be built to age over the long haul, it should have a good deal to offer over the next 7-8 years.
