Score 92/100 · Drink 1994-2002, Robert Parker, Oct 1993
Colin, who has become one of the top stars of white burgundy, excelled in 1989, made very fine wines in 1990, competent, and above average quality 1991s. The 1992s are the strongest line-up I have yet to taste from him. They should be sought out by lovers of white burgundy. The magnificent 1992 Puligny-Montrachet-Les Demoiselles boasts fine structure, stunning richness, and a promising bouquet of ripe honeyed fruit, flowers, and smoky new oak. Long yet well-defined, this expansive, full-throttle white burgundy should be at its best between 1994-2002. Colin-Deleger is one of the superstars of the 1992 white burgundy vintage. Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA.
