1987 Domaine Denis Bachelet Gevrey-Chambertin Les Corbeaux Vieilles Vignes 1er Cru

The Premier Cru Les Corbeaux was not much better than the Vielles Vignes, although it did have more ripeness and concentration. Perhaps this bottle was in an awkward stage of development, because Denis Bachelet's wines have consistently been well above the rank and file of the Gevrey-Chambertin producers.
