Score 98/100 · Drink 2000-2009, Pierre Rovani, Oct 2000
The profound 1994 Gewurztraminer Clos Windsbuhl displays awesome depth and complexity to its smoke, and spiced apple nose. Full-bodied, decadent, and lush, it is a massively broad, sexy wine. This forward, apricot, spice, rose, and lychee-nut flavored beauty is highly expressive and velvety-textured. Its extroverted personality has unreal concentration and superb balance, two attributes that will allow it to age marvelously well. Projected maturity: now-2009.
