Score 97/100 · Drink 2025-2045, Jeb Dunnuck, Jun 2024

From volcanic soils at 2400 feet elevation, above the fog layer, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Christopher's Vineyard sports a youthful purple/black color and is aromatic with notes of black licorice, sweet tobacco, blackberry preserve, and forest floor. Full-bodied, it expands through the palate, with ripe, sweet tannins and a long, balanced, even finish. This powerful wine has a lot of elegance and never feels heavy. It’s a fantastic expression of Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma. Drink 2025-2045. Stonestreet Estate focuses on the high elevation vineyards in the Alexander Valley. The estate is part of the Jackson Family, having been founded in 1995 by Barbara Banke and Jess Stonestreet Jackson. Today, winemaker Kristina Shideler leads the production, having re-joined the team after taking her first lead winemaker roll at Arrowood Winery in 2015.
