The 2023 Pinot Noir Giusti Ranch is dark, spicy and more forward in character in the context of this lineup. Broad in texture and notably ripe, yet well calibrated, the 2023 delivers black cherry jam, baking spices, shades of mocha and chalky textures, all cobbled together in a rounded, mouth-coating frame that perks up on the finish with a kick of powdery tannin. The oak is very nicely integrated.

The 2023 Pinot Noir Giusti Vineyard was matured for 17 months in 37% new French oak. It has slowly opening scents of pomegranate, raspberry, black tea leaves, lemon peel and dark spice. The medium-bodied palate is bursting with spicy berry fruit. It’s framed by chalky tannins and bright acidity and has a long, detailed and spicy finish. It will benefit from time in the cellar.
