Score 90/100 · Drink 2017-2019, Jeb Dunnuck, Dec 2017
The 2014 Fume Blanc comes from cool climate vineyards in the southern end of Napa Valley and was brought up in various sized French oak barrels. It’s a classy, impeccably made example of Sauvignon Blanc that gives up plenty of citrus, lime, lychee, and floral aromatics, medium-bodied richness, vibrant acidity, and a dry finish. It’s drinking beautifully today, and should keep for 2-3 years, although there no need to delay gratification.
