Score 88/100 · Drink 2015-2022, Robert Parker, Dec 2014
The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Winemaker’s Reserve exhibits attractive spicy, oaky notes intermixed with notions of blackcurrants and vanilla in a medium-bodied, savory style with luscious fruit as well as a forward, evolved personality very much in keeping with this vintage. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.

Score 90/100 · Drink 2014-2020, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2014
Dark plums, mocha, new leather, licorice, cloves and blackberry jam all flesh out in Souverain's 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Winemakers Reserve. Violets, savory herbs and spices follow, adding further layers of nuance. The 2011 is quite fresh and vibrant in its flavors, yet it also has enough mid-palate pliancy and resonance to drink well for at least a handful of years.
