2018 Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard is dense, powerful and explosive. A burst of inky dark fruit, cedar, tobacco, smoke, espresso and dried herbs gives the 2018 its exuberant personality. I would cellar the 2018 for at least a few years to allow the formidable tannins to soften. This is a fabulous example of Georges III and Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon and another superb effort from Daphne and Bart Araujo's J.H. Wheeler label.
