Tasting notes
Henri Boillot’s Bourgogne Blanc is made with mainly declassified fruit from the villages of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Romain and Auxey-Duresses. The 2024 Bourgogne Blanc is a beautifully crafted wine that overdelivers for its level. Round and creamy in texture, it opens with delicate almond notes and a gentle mineral edge. Fermented and aged without new oak in larger 350L barrels (barrels of one or two years), it preserves a pure expression of fruit and freshness. The palate shows lively, mouth-watering acidity that lifts the wine, followed by a second kick of crisp white fruits such as pear, apple and a touch of citrus zest. Balanced, precise and vibrant, this is a refined and thoroughly engaging introduction to Henri Boillot’ signature in all the wines he crafts.
