Tasting notes
The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon SOLO sports a deep purple hue as well as outstanding aromatics of ripe plums, blue fruits, scorched earth, violets, and hints of candied framboise. Brought up all in 100% new French oak, it's medium to full-bodied, has a nicely textured, concentrated mouthfeel, ripe yet firmer tannins, and a good finish. It's a big, rich, opulent 2022 that has plenty of charm, and given its depth and richness, it should keep for a solid decade. Drink 2025-2035.

Full bottle 1,623 g. Matured in 100% new French oak. NHB. Deep inky purple. Violet floral notes and rich black fruit with a light spice. Full, broad, richly fruited wine with incredibly plush tannin so soft that you barely notice it climbing your gums. Enough acid to balance. Sweet finish – a few grams of sugar rounding it out? (SCJ)
Sourced entirely from the Stags Leap District vineyard surrounding the winery, Silverado's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Solo is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (See selection) aged in 100% new French oak. Scents of crushed stone, pencil shavings and ripe black cherries mark the nose, while the full-bodied palate is silky. This wine shows classic Stags Leap depth and structure allied to intensity and persistence on the finish. It should drink well for up to two decades.
