Score 89/100 · Drink 2025-2033, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Feb 2025

St. Supéry's 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Estate Grown & Bottled blends fruit from its Dollarhide Ranch and Rutherford properties. Hints of dusty earth and dried herbs lend pleasant nuance to the blackberries and black cherries on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is smooth and supple, finishing with just a hint of dark coffee and some silky tannins. It's fairly priced for the quality.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is based on 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec, 4% Petit Verdot, and 1% Merlot. It's a solid effort offering plenty of Napa charm in its ripe red and black plum fruit as well as chocolaty oak, violets, and spicy nuances. This medium to full-bodied, plush, easygoing effort is perfect for drinking over the coming 7-8 years, if not a decade.
