Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2018-2026, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016
The 2015 Maranges 1er Cru Clos de la Fussière has a lovely pure black cherry and cassis-scented bouquet that might almost remind you of say a Moulin-à-Vent (and I mean that in a good way). The palate is soft on the entry, rounded in the mouth with a caressing finish that just needs a little more weight. There is a burst of blue fruit towards the succulent finish and I suspect that this will be a very attractive Maranges once in bottle.
