Tasting notes
Powerful and elegant, this is a full-bodied wine with aromas of spiced pears, lemons and sage. The plate has refreshing acidity and loads of generous citrus and minerals, with a pleasing balance of sweetness and bitterness in the finish reminiscent of zesty citrus peel. Really good.

Matured for 16 months in 26% new French oak, the 2023 Chardonnay Lewis MacGregor Estate Vineyard has inviting aromas of baked apples and pears, pastry crust, jasmine, honey and flint. The full-bodied palate is ripe and hedonistic with layered, honey-nut flavors. Its satiny, mouth-coating texture is foiled by bright acidity, and it has a very long finish. 460 cases were made.
