Tasting notes
Composed of Clone 6 from a single block on Pritchard Hill, Fairchild's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Stones No. 1 delivers big fruit up front—a mix of red and black cherries. It's full-bodied, dense and intense and packed with ripe tannins, adding notes of dark chocolate on the lengthy finish.

All from the Montagna Vineyard on Pritchard Hill and all Clone 6, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Stones No. 1 has a darker, floral, exotic feel in its black and blue fruit, game, lavender, and sweet flower-like aromas and flavors. Full-bodied and concentrated, with a broad, layered mouthfeel and beautiful tannins, it's a complex, exotic, singular wine in the lineup. The élevage here is 22 months in 95% new French oak.
