Score 17/20 · Drink 2013-2032, Jancis Robinson MW, Nov 2019

Mid garnet and no hint of orange. Good attack and fruit density. Very intense – maybe there was quite a bit of extraction early on but it seems to be paying dividends now. Fine tannins well in retreat and some vigorous fruit. Perhaps not the most caressing of these 2004 burgundies but gives lots of pleasure. (JR)
