Score 90/100 · Drink 1996-1999, Robert Parker, Oct 1996

To date, Pinot Noirs made by El Molino have been dead-ringers for high class Burgundy. The 1993 offers a mature looking, medium garnet color with some ruby hues. The nose is classic Cote d'Or, with copious amounts of spice, herbs, sweet red fruits, earth, and a touch of animal fur. Expansive, round, generous, as well as elegant and deliciously light in weight, this is a complex Napa Pinot Noir to drink over the next 2-3 years. Tel. (707) 963-3632
