Tasting notes
Signorello's 2024 Chardonnay Hope’s Cuvée features seductive aromas of melon, pear, citrus and honey. Based on the old vines out in front of the winery, which were sourced from Freemark Abbey by Laurie Wood and planted on Saint George rootstock, this medium- to full-bodied wine seems less heavy than some past vintages, exhibiting some refreshingly zesty citrus notes on the lingering finish.

Beautiful, slightly Burgundian aromatics of ripe citrus and orchard fruits as well as a kiss of salty minerality all emerge from the 2024 Chardonnay Hope's Cuvee, a medium-bodied, balanced, classy Chardonnay that has integrated acidity and outstanding length. It's impeccably made and should have a decade of longevity. There are roughly 110 cases produced. Drink 2025-2035.
The 2024 Chardonnay Hope's Cuvée is beautiful, delicate and precise. Green apple, apricot, white flowers, mint and chalk lend notable brightness throughout. The 2024 spent ten months in barrel, about a third of which was larger-format puncheons, with a total of 50% new wood.
