Score 89/100 · Drink 2023-2033, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Mar 2023

Almost entirely Cabernet Sauvignon (there are tiny bits of Malbec and Petit Verdot), the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon smells almost grapey at first, then eases up to reveal notes of cassis, blueberry, cedar and vanilla. Aged 20 months in 65% new French oak, it's medium to full-bodied, showing more and more wood on the slightly drying and astringent finish. If that wood integrates more with additional cellaring, this wine could move up a point or two down the road.
