Score 91+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2010

Good bright medium red. Reticent nose hints at dark cherry and smoky oak. Sweet, young and deep, displaying the coolest fruit character of these 2007s and the best cut and definition. This intensely flavored, structured wine finishes with noble tannins and excellent length. An '07 for the cellar. These crus were aged in 50% new oak and the rest once- and twice-used barrels.

Good bright medium red. High-pitched nose offers cherry, currant, flowers, iron and minerals. Rich, dense and minerally if less open to inspection today than the Jarollieres. This one is showing a medicinal reserve today and will require more aging. A broad but weightless wine that finishes with palate-dusting tannins, very good verve and an impression of delicacy.
