Tasting notes
Pinot Noir. Tasted blind. Deep garnet colour. There is quite intense ripe fruit here, overlaid with a lightly metallic note. Lots of rather joyous ripe fruit with masses of Pinot character – almost exaggerated Pinot character! Full-on wine that I think few would put in Champagne if served it blind. Perhaps made from fruit with a carefully reduced yield? But well done! (JR)

30% whole bunch. One month in barrel between alcoholic fermentation and malo. 12 months in barrel. Nearly 13%. To be launched 2020. Pretty concentrated! Deep crimson. Pretty full on and ripe though not sweet. A little sour but full of intention. Dry finish. Quite a savage impact! (JR)
