From the Sonoma Coast, the 2023 Pinot Noir Terra Di Promissio has a medium ruby hue and is pretty on the nose, with aromas of wild strawberries, blue flowers, bay leaf, and brambly fresh earth. This medium-bodied Pinot Noir has a more linear feel, with a refreshing level of tension, fine tannins, salty earth, and even acidity. It has a lovely savory feel from the Coast and should improve over the coming 6-8 years.

The 2023 Pinot Noir Terra del Promissio is one of the best wines I have tasted from Domaine Della. Graphite, dried herbs, menthol and licorice meld into a core of dark blue and black fruits. This virile, imposing Pinot offers tons of savory intensity and structure to play off its decidedly brooding personality. Impressive.
