The 2021 Santorini is unoaked and comes in at 14.2% alcohol. This was bottled in mid-July of 2022. Fresh and juicy, this is an elegant Assyrtiko that nonetheless expresses the grape well and seems ripe. Bright and sunny, this still coats the palate with tasty fruit. This brand is seemingly improving steadily, and this is a good example. It has both the structure and the concentration to age throughout the decade, maybe more.

Partly from their own vineyards. Cool and fresh and competent. Definitely worth looking out for, a wine with real drive and punch. (JR)
