The 2023 Aconcagua Costa Chardonnay leads with an ethereal, nuanced nose of citrus peels, sea spray and almond skin. The palate is silky, tensile and succulent, concluding with a persistent, focused finish that lingers with refreshing salinity and a chalky texture. It's a beautifully transparent and nuanced expression of Coastal Chilean Chardonnay.

Hand-picked and whole-cluster pressed. 78% of the must is fermented in French oak barrels. The wine is then aged on lees for a further 10–11 months in French oak (25% new). Winemaker Tomás Muñoz. RS 1.6 g/l. Screwcap. Vegan. Certified sustainable (Sustainable Wines of Chile). Very light nose but good concentration on the palate even if more in Chablis than Mâcon mode. Quite tense. GV (JR)
