Tasting notes
Produced from a parcel located in the lower part of its vineyard (known as “dessous”), the creamed hazelnut, pear, and apple-scented 2003 Meursault Vireuils (white) is a fresh, light to medium-bodied, silky-textured wine. Its white fruit flavors are intermingled with hints of lively lemons. Drink it over the next 4 years. Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA; tel. (510) 524-1524; and Parliament Wine Co., Atlantic City, NJ; tel. (609) 348-1100

(no new oak used) Soft citrus aromas. Sweet flavors of orange and minerals; soft in the middle for this wine but finishes with a firm edge.
