(bottled without filtration) Medicinal aromas of iodine, clove, exotic herbs and oak char. Broad, large-scaled and rich, with very ripe, low-pitched flavors of peach and apricot. A big, slowly building wine that finishes with good length and some alcoholic warmth. Seems a bit rustic in the way of Amiot's Caillerets, and less fresh than the Demoiselles. .

(just one new barrel produced) Yeasty aromas of orange peel, smoke, iodine and tea. Sweet, thick and fruit-driven but a bit youthfully rigorous, even severe, today. Nicely framed by its adequate acidity and new oak. Finishes with very good length and a tannic impression.
