Score 96/100 · Drink 2024-2034, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Sep 2023

The 2019 Chardonnay The Eyrie Vineyards has singular aromas of dried herbs and lilac, hazelnuts, beeswax and umami-like undertones that, despite not being focused on fruit, gain in intensity and detail as the wine airs in the glass. The medium-bodied palate is satiny and dynamic, its initially mineral-driven fruit segueing slowly to creamy fruit and nutty nuances that linger on the extended finish. Just 50 half-cases were made.
