Huber's 2018 Bienenberg Spätburgunder GG is intense and warm yet still fine on the nose, whereas the palate is pure and fresh, refined and full of red berry and cherry aromas. This is tight, with finesse and tension and a good finish. My sample during the preview in Wiesbaden in August 2020 was less than a sip and also far too warm to be described in more detail. I hope to be able to taste the very-much-sought-after wine again this year.

Why not right now? Wonderful blackberry, fresh-sage and smoky nose leads you into a generous but bright pinot noir with excellent concentration and stunning balance. Very long finish. Drink or hold.
