Tasting notes
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon offers a classic nose of cassis, black plums and blackberries with cedar, cloves and menthol nuances. Medium-bodied, fine, elegant and bursting with energy, it has beautifully grainy tannins framing the fruit and great length.

Bright ruby-red. A complex, highly perfumed bouquet evokes ripe blackcurrant and cherry, with suggestions of pipe tobacco, musky earth, vanilla and woodsmoke. Sappy, subtly sweet and focused, with intense dark berry and lavender pastille flavors accented by candied licorice and mocha nuances. Powerful and structured but not at all hard, this Cabernet finishes with excellent clarity and length, the supple tannins building slowly. This bottling is always a good bet for cellaring and this vintage continues that tradition.
