Score 88/100 · Drink 2019-2023, Neal Martin, Jan 2019

The 2017 Bourgogne Les Bon Batons has more fruit intensity than the regular Pinot Noir, offering attractive wild strawberry and black plum aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent tannin, a slightly chalky in texture and a lively, quite animated finish. This is a fine entry-level wine and comes recommended.
