A wine that will see 18-20 months of élevage, the 2021 Saint Joseph Cuvée Du Papy has a touch more richness and depth compared to the classic cuvée, with ripe black raspberries, ground pepper, violets, and assorted meaty notes in a medium-bodied, nicely balanced, concentrated style.

Leading off the reds, the 2021 Saint Joseph Cuvée Papy reveals a deeper purple hue as well as textbook aromatics of darker berry fruits and ground pepper. This big, concentrated Saint Joseph has plenty of structure, so give it a few years once released.
