Score 91/100 · Drink 2016-2035, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Apr 2024

The fairly unevolved 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Bella Oaks Vineyard is a bit herbal on the nose, with those notes joined by cassis and vanilla. It's medium to full-bodied but with an almost apple-like bite to the acids, and it has a fine, silky-textured finish. While pleasurable overall, it's hard to see where this wine is headed.
