Score 91/100 · Drink 2005-2012, Robert Parker, Aug 2005
An outstanding effort, the 2004 Pinot Noir Garys’ Vineyard is a richer, more velvety-textured, gamy, earthy version of the downscaled 2003. The deep ruby/plum-tinged 2004 offers up a big, sweet perfume of forest floor, roasted meats, black cherries, boysenberries, and a hint of licorice. Medium to full-bodied and ripe, with no hard edges, and excellent depth as well as length, it can be consumed over the next 5-7 years. Tel. (707) 578-3882
