Score 92/100 · Drink 2005-2020, Robert Parker, Dec 2005
The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon St. Helena is a gorgeous wine with a deep ruby/purple color and a big, sweet nose of tobacco leaf, coffee, black currants, and licorice. The oak is nicely integrated in this full-bodied, ripe, exuberant Cabernet. It should drink well young and age nicely for 12-15 years. Tel. (707) 257-5300; Fax (707) 257-6022

(includes about 20% co-fermented cabernet franc) Good full medium ruby. High-pitched aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, tar, menthol and licorice. Higher-toned and higher-pitched than the estate cabernet, with flavors of blueberry, violet and minerals framed by juicy acidity. Here the firm tannins are a bit less integrated, at least in the early going.
