From the Coombsville AVA, the lovely 2004 Merlot Michael Black Vineyard was aged 22 months in French oak (40% new). It exhibits lots of caramel, black cherry, currant and cola-like notes, expressive aromatics, medium to full-bodied flavors and good follow through. Fully mature, it is best drunk over the next 4-5 years. Tel. and Fax (707) 258-2566
