Score 93/100 · Drink 2022-2031, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Mar 2021

The 2017 Sancerre Guigne-Chèvres is coolish, precise and fresh on the bright and ascetic or pure nose with its green citrus fruit notes that reflect the northeast-facing vineyard in red silex clay soils covering a limestone subsoil. Medium to full-bodied and very long on the palate, this is a lean, vital and tensioned Sancerre classic with white and green fruit aromas as well as mineral notes and a tight and structured finish. Oysters, please! Tasted in February 2021.
