The 2015 Pinot Noir Grace Benoist Ranch offers lovely depth in its sweet red cherry and raspberry fruit. Hints game, sage, tobacco and wild herbs, along with slightly coarse tannins, give the wine a slightly rustic edge. The abnormally low yields seem to have produced a Pinot with somewhat rough contours.

Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with savory/earthy flavors, framed by chewy tannins and finishing with a lot of interesting layers.
