While the 1990 Bandol-La Migoua is loaded with concentration and richness, it will undoubtedly be controversial. The spicy, meaty, leathery nose suggests there are elements of "brett" yeast, which consumers tend to either love or hate. The amounts present in this offering are at the threshold of being objectionable. However, the wine is otherwise so rich and concentrated it merits interest. Deeply-colored, with medium to full body, superb concentration, and a long, moderately tannic finish, this wine should keep for 12-15 years. Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA.
