Tasting notes
The 2013 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuées is quite shy and reserved today, but the delicacy and finesse of the year are both evident. Round, silky tannins support the expressive, creamy finish, with sweet floral, red stone fruit and savory overtones that add lift.

(2-1/2 barrels made, none new): Bright, dark red. Pungent aromas of dark raspberry, spices, crushed rock and minerals. Broad and weightless, with youthfully sharp red fruit flavors complicated by spices and herbs. I love the combination of ripeness and energy on display here. Finishes classy and complex, with excellent lift. This fruit was picked with 12.2% potential alcohol and chaptalized to 13%, said Perrot-Minot. Suave, lively wine with plenty of dimension and potential longevity.
