(a blend of 41% cabernet sauvignon, 38% merlot and 21% cabernet franc) Good dark red. Ripe aromas of plum, tobacco, mocha and sweet oak. Suave, sweet and fine-grained, with captivating suggestions of tobacco, dried flowers and fresh herbs. Broad and lush yet somehow airy, conveying a lovely light touch for such a silky wine. Finishes with a broad dusting of tannins and captivating spicy lift. This one was aged in 40% new oak.
