Medium red color. Rich, ripe and spicy on the nose, with warm notes of singed plum, cherry and blueberry, all accented by bitter chocolate and black tea. Smoky and lush in the mouth, with slow-to-unfold but sweet flavors of cherry, strawberry jam and baking spices. A wine with good heft, this gained in definition and cut with aeration. Finishes sweet, fat and long.
