Score 92/100 · Drink 2012-2020, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Dec 2011
Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2009 Brookman Vineyard Syrah has an earthy / gamey character on the nose with underlying notes of kirsch, raspberry preserves, mocha and tar. Full bodied and concentrated in the mouth, it offers a firm level of chewy tannins and crisp acidity, finishing long and earthy. Drink it now to 2020. Importer: Wine Brokers Unlimited, Hayward, CA
