Tasting notes
Pale ruby, the 2015 Pinot Noir Diane Cobb Coastlands Vineyard takes time to offer tobacco leaves, saline, aniseed and woodsmoke with a core of bright, perfumed red and black berry fruits. Medium-bodied, the palate is earthy and firm, with good freshness and a long finish.

Powerful and concentrated, the Pinot Noir Diane Cobb: Coastlands Vineyard packs a serious punch in its dense fruit. Here, too, the tannins are plentiful. Tobacco, cedar, rose petal, orange peel and spice all lend an exotic flair, but the 2015 remains an intense, searing wine that begs for cellaring. In this vintage, the Diane Cobb is perhaps not as delineated as it can be, but it is nevertheless a very fine wine. The 2015 was done with 50% whole clusters and spent 22 months in French oak barrels, 50% new.
