Tasting notes
Biodynamic farming. Spontaneous fermentation. Ripe and jammy, and extraordinarily youthful for an eight-year-old wine. Practically puppyish in its energy and abundant, exuberant, charcoal-smudged fruit, which swamps the tannins with ease. Although there are hints of development in the notes of raisins and baked plum pudding that become more noticeable on the finish. Nothing subtle about this mouthful of sybaritic liquid. (TC)

Highly perfumed scents of black and blue fruits, Indian spices, pungent flowers and cola, joined by a smoky nuance that builds in the glass. Palate-staining blackberry and boysenberry flavors show very good depth, and exotic violet pastille and black pepper nuances add complexity. Finishes smooth, spicy and warm, displaying lingering notes of sweet dark berry liqueur and gentle tannins.
