Tasting notes
In a screw-cap bottle, the Franz Haas 2024 Pinot Grigio is luminous, perfumed and easy-drinking. It is partially aged in large oak casks but nevertheless remains fruit-forward, citrusy and fresh. Vineyards start at 300 meters and extend up to 800 meters above sea level. This is an ample release of 100,000 bottles.

Crushed stone mixes with savory herbs and an air of almond custard as the 2024 Pinot Grigio opens in the glass. It is round and soft-textured, with juicy orchard fruits and hints of sweet spice. The 2024 leaves a subtle mineral saturation and crisp sensation and finishes with medium length.
Slightly candied yet intense nose here, with pear-candy, white-pepper and seaweed aromas. Light-bodied and silky with a refreshing, leaner finish. Drink now.
