Similar in style to the Rosella's, yet maybe even more fresh and lively, the Burgundian-styled 2013 Pinot Noir Soberanes Vineyard has lively, juicy notes of rose petals, black cherries, black raspberries, forest floor and mint to go with a lively, polished and brilliantly pure feel on the palate. Possessing higher acidity and a vibrant style, it still has excellent mid-palate depth and a great finish, all of which bode well for it drinking nicely over the coming 5-7 years.

Full, bright ruby. Deeply pitched dark berry and cherry aromas are complemented by spicecake and lavender nuances. Sappy and seamless on the palate, offering concentrated, energetic blackberry and bitter cherry flavors that become sweeter with air. Closes smooth, broad and long, with repeating spiciness and velvety tannins that sneak up late.
