Tasting notes
A total stunner, and the most voluptuous and decadent example of this cuvée I've tasted, the 2013 Chardonnay Rosella's Vineyard sports a light gold color to go with sensational notes of pineapple, buttered citrus, mango and hints of almond on the nose. Full-bodied and layered on the palate with great acidity and a layered, lengthy, yet graceful texture, this shockingly good Chardonnay will drink nicely for at least 4-5 years.

Pale gold. Complex, deeply pitched scents of poached pear, nectarine, ginger and honey, with smoky oak and agave accents. Concentrated pit and orchard fruit flavors show surprising vivacity, with a dusty mineral quality adding back-end lift. The gingery note comes back on the long, penetrating finish, with the pear and nectarine notes echoing.
