Disgorged January 2001. Disgorged 9 g/l. First vintage. Very cool and introvert from a very hot vintage. Broad and almost rich on the palate. Has definitely unfurled. Chalky finish. Much less tart than the other vintages. Long. Different from, softer than, the other wines in this vertical. (JR)

From magnum. Still improving. Very pale and very dry. No dosage? Tight, taut, not very charming. (JR)
