Tasting notes
The 2022 Jersey Girl mixes rich notes of autumnal spice, mocha, savory herbs and dried black cherries. It's seamlessly silken in feel, with polished red and black fruits, hints of licorice and cooling acidity. A saturation of tart raspberry mingles with edgy tannins as the 2022 tapers off grippy, yet lively and spry. The Jersey Girl is a mix of 92% Syrah, 7% Graciano and 1% Viognier.

The 2022 Syrah Jersey Girl includes 7% Graciano, 1% Nero d'Avola and 1% Viognier. The nose is driven by black fruits, vanilla bean and new leather aromas. The most plush and saturated wine of the roster, it finishes with smokey, savory nuances and a similarly straightforward, powdery tannin structure to much of the Jada lineup, albeit with a touch more dimensionality.
Inkier hued, the glass-staining 2022 Syrah Jersey Girl checks in as 91% Syrah, 7% Graciano, 1% Nero d'Avola, and 1% Viognier, raised in just 21% new French oak. Blackberries, mulled plums, ground pepper, flowers incense, and some gamey, exotic Syrah notes all define the aromatics, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a deep, layered mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It's a big beast of a Syrah that somehow stays nicely balanced, graceful, and incredibly satisfying. Drink bottles over the coming 7-8 years.
