Score 96/100 · Drink 2025-2040, Jeb Dunnuck, Jul 2025

The 2022 Pinot Noir Belay pours a deeper ruby/magenta hue compared to the Savoy and is seductive and layered, with ripe aromas of black raspberry coulis, lavender, licorice, and polished leather. The palate is peppery and lifted within a medium to full-bodied frame, and it has accents of zesty white pepper, snappy acidity, ripe tannins, and a long feel through the finish. Packed with personality, it’s fantastically structured and will likely cruise over the coming 15 years.
